Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. She is renowned for her movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. After working as assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she was named the number one female box-office starter in the world. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The actress has appeared in a variety of different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
