Lita Rossana Ford (or Lita Ford as she is popularly known as, was an American-born British musician and vocalist who led the women-only hard rock group The Runaways during the late 1970s. It wasn't possible for the band to be a major hit in America however, they enjoyed a great deal of acclaim in other nations particularly Japan.
