Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She then acted in several Broadway performances before she was an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. She also released her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. When she was an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director for popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
