Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer-songwriter and actress. The most famous of her roles is her role as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen has seen her music included in films and television shows such as How to Be single Going the distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. It is the Center of Creative Arts is where she learned dance. In the age of 3 years old she was a professional actor in a Shake 'n Bake 1997 national television commercial. Momsen's career in the industry was put off for three years before she was cast in the lead part in Misconceptions. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh, a 2006 movie. She auditioned as well for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three but the part was awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.
